What should I expect when Chimney Concepts comes to my home?

When our certified technicians come to your home, you can expect courteous and thorough service. We work hard and take great precautions to keep your home and property clean and protected during each and every service we provide (we’ll treat your yard “like a national park”!). Whether we’re performing a chimney sweeping, a video inspection, chimney restoration work, or another          chimney-related service, we deliver beautiful, efficient, and effective results.

How frequently should my chimney be inspected and/or swept?

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommends that all chimneys, regardless of use, be inspected every single year, and swept as deemed necessary during the inspection. Whether your system is oil, gas, or wood-burning, be sure to schedule annual inspections – our sweeps can let you know if it’s time for a quality sweeping.

Why are inspections so important?

Inspections are incredibly important because they can alert you to potential problems or vulnerabilities in your system before they cause you and your home great trouble. Because we use video scanning equipment for our inspections, we’ll be able to get a good look at chimney system, and let you know if you need to take any precautions or make any repairs.

Will my house be a mess after a chimney sweeping?

Not with Chimney Concepts on the job! Our technicians work diligently to keep your home clean throughout our time there. We use powerful, dust-free vacuums to contain all loosened dust and soot, and put down drop clothes to protect your home so you don’t have to worry about a mess! Even when we’re doing chimney restoration and rebuild work, you can expect your home and property to be treated with the utmost respect and to look pristine when we leave!

What is the best time to schedule annual maintenance?

We get a lot of emergency calls during the fall and winter months, so for the quickest annual maintenance-related service, we recommend scheduling between April and August.
